Our Royal Drugs Pharmacy located in The Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Clerk. Being the first point of contact you are the face of the pharmacy and an integral part of the patient/pharmacy relationship. Among other things, in this role you will process patient prescriptions, resolve problems with payments/third-party billings, respond to patient inquiries via phone or email, control and maintain inventory for over-the-counter medications and healthcare products, and work with the Pharmacy and Retail Managers to create a welcoming storefront and pleasant experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Prescription in-take, transfers
- Verifying patient information and refills in Kroll
- Answering patient inquiries
- Completing patient documentation, third-party billings, invoices, etc.
- Operating a cash register, processing credit/debit card transactions
- Providing healthcare product information and suggestions
- Compression fitting
- Performing regular stock take for over-the counter medications and healthcare products, ordering/receiving products for replenishment
- Ensuring pharmacy storefront/front shop is clean and organized at all times
- Arranging deliveries
- Other duties as may be require
