A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

  • Scan/file pharmacy paperwork including prescription records.
  • Arrange courier shipments.
  • Processing account payments and account receivable statements.
  • Assist with prescription processing, preparation of compounding worksheets and reporting.
  • Triage incoming phone calls.
  • Maintaining accurate drug and supply inventory including purchasing and receiving medications and supply items, checking expiration dates, and performing scheduled inventory counts.
  • Picking, visual inspection and packaging of compounded products
  • General maintenance/cleaning of pharmacy.
  • Deliver/pick up orders on an occasional basis.
  • Adherence to all relevant guidelines including the established Standard Operating Procedures and all applicable regulatory requirements as set out by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing review of policies and procedures as they pertain to pharmacy operations.
  • Manage dispensing and shipping schedules.
  • Monitoring of fridge temperatures and reporting any variances directly to the Director Pharmacy Operations.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager
