Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy & Medicines Optimisation Transformation Lead to drive transformative projects that align with our recently launched Pharmacy Vision/Strategy. This is a brand new role and involves working closely with the Chief Pharmacist, our diverse Pharmacy team and stakeholders across the Trust. You will focus on the design, leadership, and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance pharmacy services, improve patient outcomes, and optimise medicines use. As a leader in transformation, you’ll play a crucial role in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across the Trust and wider healthcare system.
It is an exciting time to join our Pharmacy team who are currently in the process of transformation and modernisation across a range of areas, for example: patient flow, workforce, clinical pharmacy services and medicines governance.
This post will work across our Colchester and Ipswich locations where you will work on-site closely with our pharmacy team, however some degree of home working will be possible.
This post is fixed term for 12 months. Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only

To plan, lead and monitor Pharmacy-specific change projects, ensuring delivery of outcomes which are aligned with system-wide and organisational strategies, business plans and programmes of work.
To ensure that the Pharmacy Transformation projects are planned and managed effectively and ensure safe and seamless integration with other existing processes and services.
To engage with colleagues across all parts of the Trust and wider system, bringing together expertise, skills and ideas to maximise patient outcomes and service improvements.
To promote and support a culture of quality improvement within the Pharmacy and wider Trust.
This role will work closely with the Trust’s Transformation Team, who are responsible for supporting transformation in a range of service areas relevant to the Pharmacy Transformation Project Manager. The role will also report to the Head of Transformation to ensure that any wider transformation processes impacting pharmacy are informed by the service.
