JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our faculty as a 12-month, tenure or non-tenure-track, Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate a robust commitment to teaching, research, and service, and will be expected to provide clinical pharmacy services in an acute care setting. We look forward to welcoming a dedicated pharmacy educator whose teaching philosophy aligns with the department’s mission to promote excellence in pharmacy education and practice and contribute significantly to our academic community.
REQUIREMENTS
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from an accredited institution
- Licensure/eligibility for licensure, in the State of Connecticut
- Completion of a residency program (PGY1 and/or PGY2) or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated potential for scholarly research and publication
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Board certification in a pharmacy specialty
- Prior teaching experience in an academic setting
- Experience with innovative teaching methodologies and technology-enhanced learning
