Lead the effective and appropriate procurement of all pharmaceutical items for Pharmacy and the Trust.Monitor quality and performance of key suppliersManage the Pharmacy procurement and IT teamProject manage cost and quality improvement projects that relate to Pharmacy procurement, IT or other relevant areas of expertiseDevelop, manage and maintain all aspects of the Pharmacy department IT systems, acting as a subject matter expert for the Pharmacy system WellSky Pharmacy (formerly JAC)Act as a member of the Pharmacy Department Senior Leadership TeamDeputise for the Business Services & Transformation Manager as requiredWork alongside and support other members of the Pharmacy Business and Transformation Team on key areas of joint work (including, but not limited to, prescribing formulary accuracy across IT systems, WellSky Pharmacy data quality and the effective in-system flagging of medicines excluded from tariff (PBRx drugs))With support from other members of the wider Pharmacy team, develop and maintain the departments Business Intelligence functionsProvide professional advice and support to non-procurement or IT colleagues with relevant queries or project requestsProvide relevant teaching, training or educational sessions to the wider medicines optimisation team as appropriat
