Description:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Working to relevant SOPs and undertaking a GPhC accredited Level 2 qualification Management of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) including receipt, dispensing, returns, quarantine and destruction. Liaison with internal Research teams and external Sponsors and associates Receipt of orders from suppliers. Prompt reporting of discrepancies to the dispensary supervisor. Deal with returned medicines from patients and process paperwork according to SOPs.
Carry out routine stock control procedures. Ensure stock is located under correct storage conditions and continuous evaluation of stock levels and expiry dates is undertaken. Labelling, dispensing and preparation of Controlled Drugs after training and competency assessment. Working accurately to dispense medicines, including labelling, preparation and assembly in a dispensary
