Description:

Position Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst role will play an integral part of the development of business intelligence within the company’s supply chain, focusing on providing analytical support to supply chain implementations, quality assurance and centralized monitoring. Collaborating with other pharmacy team members for a wide variety of activities to support the company’s inventory and supply chain.

ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory management.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not necessary.
  • Technical and data manipulation experience with Excel (pivot tables, Lookups), as well as BI Platform experience.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify stakeholder needs through inquiry and inventory needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and solutions oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate results of complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Audit Support

  • Audit current supply chain processes and trends in purchasing history.
  • Support for Corporate audit artifact and data requirements.
  • Support for assessment of inventory count submissions.
  • Support recommendation development for control or procedure improvements and procurement opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Inventory Control and close gaps with any deficiencies in our processes, as well as suggest cycle count plans, develop, and run reports to find discrepancies, root causes and solving them.

Day to Day Management

  • Assist in developing a high-level view of our current organizational strengths and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Use existing tools and technologies to monitor current processes to ensure a level of compliance is being met.
  • Based on data feeds, provide timely feedback to designate contacts and escalate to management per requirements.
  • Develop and document processes and reports to measure benchmarks and key performance indicators for pharmacy workflow processes.

Project Support

  • Collaborate with management using the data models and analysis to provide insights that drive operations improvements (i.e. Reduce stock outs, planning procurement lead times, reduce overstocking)
  • Assist with defined initiative execution including development of documents, centralized KPI monitoring and data compilation.
