Pharmacy Support Worker - Manufacturing

To assist the Chief Pharmacist in providing comprehensive specialist pharmaceutical care and medicines management by the provision of safe, appropriate and effective clinical pharmacy services within the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, and areas supplied under Service Level Agreements, ensuring compliance with current medicines legislation. To assist the Principal Technician SACT, PN & Manufacturing, or Designated deputy in the smooth running of the manufacturing units according to Guide to Good Manufacturing Practice and MHRA guidelines. Participate in the accurate and timely dispensing and supply of medications Band 3 experience will be met when operator has completed all the objectives that are set within the Trusts aseptic training manual and has been successfully validated to perform aseptic manipulations allowing them to produce aseptic products. The operator must also have completed the Level 2 for Pharmacy Assistants in Manufacturing course (Buttercups training) and been validated in the In-process checking for aseptic manufacturing
