ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have an exhilarating opportunity for a pharmacy technician to join our specialised pharmacy dispensing program at Icon Pharmacy Group. Based at Slade Pharmacy Deakin, located within Deakin Private Hospital, ACT, you’ll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in healthcare.
In this role, you’ll dive into a variety of tasks, from providing administrative services and dispensing medications to using Microsoft programs and handling phone queries. You’ll also assist with our remote dispensary service, helping clinics prescribe medical Botox. This is your chance to grow in a well-structured, supportive healthcare environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dispense PBS authority medications
- Manage stock and process PBS claims
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in the specialised pharmacy program
- Assist with patient account inquiries via phone
- Perform administrative tasks using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
