Pharmacy Technician for Homecare and Patient Services

JOB SUMMARY Work with the Homecare Pharmacist and Senior Pharmacy Technician for Homecare and High-Cost Medicines and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver a quality homecare service. To provide a variety of pharmacy support duties to the dispensary involving labelling, assembling, preparing and dispensing medicines, stock control, dispensing of controlled drugs and receipt of prescriptions. Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of requests for pharmaceutical products across the Trust by dispensing and issuing for prescriptions, signed orders and controlled drugs orders. Always ensure patient confidentiality Participate in the dispensary rota and provide cover during busy times where appropriate.
