Description:
WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A PHARMACY TECHNICIAN AT OUR SITE IN LISTER HOSPITAL, STEVENAGE. THIS IS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A CANDIDATE INTERESTED IN EXPANDING THEIR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IN AN OUTPATIENT HOSPITAL SETTING. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITHIN A COMMUNITY PHARMACY DISPENSARY BASED SETTING.
The working hours for this position is 40 hours a week Monday to Friday with weekend availability.
The company will provide enrolment and full training to achieve accuracy checking qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the technical aspects of the dispensary including the receipt and endorsing of prescriptions as well as the labelling, dispensing and assembly of medication.
- Counsel patients on the use of their medication where appropriate, tailoring the conversations to ensure patients are fully informed about their healthcare needs.
- Support the dispensary team in actively promoting efficient pharmacy operations and services
