Driven by its ambition to expand its position as a leading research institute in Europe, Erasmus School of Law, Department Law & Markets, is looking for a PhD researcher within the research project Hy-SUCCESS (fulltime, 4 years).
JOB DESCRIPTION
Passionate about regulation and contributing towards the creation of a hydrogen economy?
Laws, policies, and underlaying public values, shape the room for the development of the H2 economy, throughout the value chain. Within this context, the project aims at Conceptualizing an Adaptive Regulatory and Policy Framework (ARPF) for the hydrogen economy. This includes using a law-and-economics approach and a multilevel governance perspective. Amongst other, it is the aim to formulate criteria for the evaluation of the adaptiveness of policy and regulatory frameworks (such as public acceptability; willingness to innovate; willingness to invest; societal and environmental objectives). The PhD project is part of the Hy-SUCCESS project, NGF: Socioeconomic aspects, Groenvermogen NL, Work Package 7.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for candidates who:
- hold a master’s degree in Law or other discipline relevant for this PhD position;
- have a background in public law and technology regulation
- can demonstrate scientific research skills;
- have excellent oral and written skills in English (requirements: see application format) and Dutch (as close cooperation with national project partners is required).
