  • Master degree (or equivalent) in Molecular or Cellular biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, (Analytical) Chemistry, Pharmacology, Toxicology, or a related discipline;
  • Interest in human in vitro applications and cellular assays
  • Good communication, organizational and social skills;
  • High proficiency in speaking and writing in the English language;
  • Strong motivation for scientific research.

  • Culturing and differentiation of human renal and hepatic cell system, including induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) derived models
  • Toxicological evaluations of applied test compounds including viability assays, barrier function, mitochondrial activity, metabolism and transcriptomics,
  • Data analysis, including analytical workflows,
  • Conduct research within the scope of the project leading to a dissertation,
  • Publish scientific articles and present research results at conferences,
  • Supervision of MSc and BSc students,
  • Collaborate within the team and with other international researchers.
