The Pathology Phlebotomy team is offering an exiting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Phlebotomy team leader.
Based at University hospitals Southampton, you will provide supervisory oversight to our Phlebotomy team in both our outpatient service and ward based service on a potential rotational basis in both footprints for service reliance and flexibility.
The role involves providing day to day oversight of our Phlebotomy teams at UHS as well as providing some deputising duties for our Phlebotomy coordinators.

Candidates should have excellent customer/patient service skills, excellent communicators, have great interpersonal skills and able to motivate your team.
Our outpatient service runs Monday to Friday but our inpatient service runs 24/7 but as team leader resource is limited likely shift patterns will be between 0730-2000.
Candidates will be working in a team of 3 team leaders covering potentially covering Monday to Sunday with a potential range of shift options
