Description:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in film, graphic design, web design, visual communications, advertising, multi-media, or related fields is required. Graduate degree or commensurate experience preferred.
  • With at least 3 years of experience in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Videography, and Basic Web Management.
  • An understanding of branding, marketing, and consumer behavior and the ability to apply that knowledge to design.
  • Google Analytics Knowledge and videography, video editing, photography, photo editing, and general graphic design skills are a requirement.
  • Proficiency in OS X platforms with extensive experience in In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Office including PowerPoint/Keynote/Prezi knowledge.
  • Expertise and knowledge of user experience and UX practices, ideally within E-commerce and website content.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop essential, In Design and Illustrator).
  • Ability to work and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Flash, Fireworks, HTML, and CSS are required. WordPress or other content management systems are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the Marketing and Public Relations Manager.
  2. Responsible for Videography, Photography, and Graphic Designing.
  3. Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
  4. Responsible for conceptualizing and creating visual content based on requirements.
  5. Attending events, as required, in order to build relationships with a network of potential guests and to develop possible business opportunities.
  6. Analysing local market trends and our competitors’ activities to identify business leads.
  7. Conducting audience segmentation and persona targeting.
  8. Demonstrating a thorough understanding of all facets and services provided within the Restaurant Industry and identifying opportunities for up-selling and promoting when appropriate.
  9. Developing, implementing, and monitoring creative social media campaigns.
  10. Managing and updating the restaurant’s content on the website.
  11. Cooperating with other departments in the organization to create an exceptional guest experience and ensure that a very high level of customer service is constantly maintained.
  12. Supporting digital engagement programs with rich media content including graphics, photos, and videos; as well as posting activities on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other interactive social media tools.
  13. Creating appropriate imagery for social media and web updates.
  14. Shooting and editing high-quality video to be used on various platforms.
  15. Creating engaging and creative social media video and photo content.
  16. Videotaping program material for production; making technical and creative decisions regarding locations, appropriate lighting, shooting angles, placement, type of microphones, other audio needs, and other production issues.
  17. Editing, assembling, compressing, and posting final audio/video program material.
  18. Overseeing pre-production meetings for the onsite, studio, and field-based video shoots.
  19. Working with outside vendors as necessary to create animations, motion graphics, and video content.
  20. Upon completion of a project, archives digital files and maintains a library of physical files for reference.
  21. Determining what camera equipment is necessary and obtaining equipment.
  22. Transporting, setting up, and operating various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production.
  23. Supporting the team throughout the production process, which may include finding interview subjects, creating graphics, and presenting them to management.
  24. Designing and producing collateral material and ensuring that all graphic design work meets brand standards. The collateral materials may include brochures, datasheets, posters, presentation material, multimedia, Illustration, logo design, exhibit material, print ads, banner ads, and packaging.
  25. Building and maintaining relationships with outside creative agencies and freelance artists.
  26. Writing scripts and planning video concepts.
  27. Following brand and logo guidelines outlined by the corporate business requirements.
  28. Other duties as assigned.
