Photos Part-time Internship

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Phillips is currently seeking an organised and motivated individual to fill a fixed-term Internship in the Photographs departments, starting in September 2024. Part time 24 Hours per week 4 months.
Based in our London Headquarters at Berkeley Square, the primary focus of the internship will be to gain an insight into the day-to-day operations of a successful international auction house. We welcome candidates with a specific interest in Photographs.
The intern will assist in carrying out a range of tasks that support successful delivery of sales administration to help the intern to gain experience that contributes to their own professional development.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• They should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ability to deal effectively and efficiently with multiple tasks while working to meet strict deadlines.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

The ideal candidate will have a passion for art with a specific interest in Photographs, with a history of art or other relevant degree.

The intern will be involved with a variety of different tasks including:

• Administration
• Archiving
• Cataloguing
• Researching
• Helping to set up exhibitions and sales
• Ad-hoc projects
