PHP Software Developer sought by global business, head quartered in the UK, who have developed a cutting-edge eCommerce SaaS platform, that drives their business (& other’s!)
This is a key role, joining a wider team of Software Engineers & Product experts, to drive (in the main) specific platform feature requests from high value clients. From requirement gathering (liaising with internal client teams), through full SDLC to delivery
You’ll have strong, hands-on PHP coding skills, with experience of modern PHP frameworks, such as Laravel or Symfony. We’d also need some experience around the front end, with Javascript & (preferably) the React framework skills, although this is primarily PHP focused.
In return, you’ll join a global company, driven from the UK, who are very successful “challengers” in their field – using their SaaS tech’ platform to separate themselves from the competition. A true UK success story - much like a min-Amazon!

Salary: £45K - £50K Basic + Excellent benefits package. We are aiming at a good “mid” level experienced developer.
Location: Northampton area. Hybrid office working - 3 days in office, 2 from home. However, there is flexibility here. Very commutable from Milton Keynes, Bedford, Rugby, Coventry, Banbury, Towcester, Kettering, etc.

We’d need to see most of the below experience to be considered:

• Experience in PHP coding, with Laravel &/or Symfony framework experience. Preferably from working on a SaaS platform, or software application.
• API development & integration experience.
• “good” experience with front end coding & technologies (Javascript, React, etc)
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP) is desirable.
• Agile environment development experience
• The ability (& want!) to work with both technical teams & non-technical teams to create Greenfield development features on the SaaS platform.
