Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. The Physical Security Tech shall provide technical and physical support for high-security areas, security equipment, and security systems in support of NSWCCD facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in homeland security, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Information Technology, Homeland or Information Security, Security Operations, and/or Access Control.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Interim Secret clearance is required to start with ability to obtain Secret clearance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for the lifecycle of the project.
  • Advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of information/physical security.
  • Ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
  • Must possess strong critical thinking skills.
  • Must be able to identify potential project risks.
  • Ability to build surveys and perform inspections.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, government personnel, and management.
  • Ability to handle classified material and knowledge of document control.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English written and verbal language.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-performance-based environment.
  • Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team.
  • Travel up to 10% as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide threat/vulnerability-based assessments that address various specialties within agency operations, including AT/FP, counterintelligence, and physical security.
  • Research and obtain information in support of the Security Office formulating and developing AT/FP assessments and reports following DoD directives and policy.
  • Prepare and provide vulnerability assessments that address:
  • Multiple facets of the agency’s operations and encompass both the counterintelligence and security disciplines.
  • Physical location of facilities; proximity of the location to the highways/roads/street; vulnerability of agency infrastructure such as building and information technologies, and physical security measures.
  • Collaborate risk management processes, planning, training, exercises, resources, and AT/FP vulnerability assessments and program reviews.
  • Conduct security inspections of Open Storage Areas in support of recertification. All inspection results will be provided to the government for validation before any action is taken.
  • Track findings in the form of organizational recommendations, document revisions, and policy and procedure improvements.
  • Provide Threat/Vulnerability-based assessments that address various specialties within agency operations, including AT/FP, counterintelligence, and physical security. Complete an assessment yes/no checklist for review and coordination upon request.
  • Research and obtain information in support of the Security Office formulating and developing AT/FP assessments and reports by DoD directives and policy.
  • Conduct security inspections of Open Storage Areas in support of recertification. All inspection results will be provided to the government for validation before any action is taken.
  • Maintain and record documents, reports, and certification letters in support of the inspection program.
  • Support and maintain the management of the administrative and programmatic requirements necessary to effectively achieve mission requirements by capturing and developing metrics for SeaTech operations.
  • Complete assessment yes/no checklists upon request for review and coordination.
  • Place all documentation created in the central repository for records retention requirements.
  • Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required.
  • Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
