Westside premium health and wellness office looking to MENTOR and EDUCATE someone interested in the world of Physical therapy healthcare! This would be a Physical therapy aide position that introduces a wide variety of patient treatments and exercises in the beauties of Los Angeles. We have clinicians that are Orthopedic Clinic Specialists, Pelvic Floor Therapists, Chronic Pain Therapists, Lymphedema Specialists, and Athletic Trainers.
We have facilities in Marina Del Rey, West Los Angeles, Encino, and Santa Monica.
We are looking for someone that is driven, willing to learn, and isn’t afraid to ask questions to improve their own EXPERIENCE. We want someone that can commit hours consistently as inconsistent hours leads to inconsistent education.
Our clinics offer exposure to orthopedic, aquatic, women’s health, chronic pain, post operative surgery, strength training, and sports. Future or current students for physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, and physician assistants are encouraged to apply. We offer a volunteer to hire program to anyone who has never worked as a physical therapy aide. If you are proficient enough as an aide you may not need to go through the volunteer program.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Future goal to become a physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, occupational therapist, occupational therapist assistant, physician assistant, or medical doctor.

  Pay: $17.28 per hour

• Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and support during therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Support administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments using Webpt.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate effective patient service and communication.
