Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Physical Therapist Assistant treats outpatients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant carries out the treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist and reports changes in patient status to the PT.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree program for Physical Therapy Assistants
Preferred:
- 1 year experience in outpatient physical therapy care
- New graduates welcome
- Experience in documenting clinical notes in electronic medical records
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
- Shift working, 7:00 3:00pm each day
- Monday-Friday
- FT
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with patients and the physical therapy team
- Ensure excellence in patient safety and experience
