DESCRIPTION

The Physical Therapist is directly responsible for planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs in the home settings for patients to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of body parts. The physical therapist consults with the physician in developing a plan of treatment including specific procedures and equipment to be used and frequency of visits.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Physical Therapy upon hire.
• Washington Physical Therapist License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

• 1 year - Home Health experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years - Physical Therapy with adults with physical disabilities
• 1 year - Experience with the geriatric population
