Responsibilities:

An opportunity has arisen to join the Neuropsychiatry Division as a qualified Physician Associate. The Physician Associate will work collaboratively with the Non-Consultant Doctors, Consultant Psychiatrists, Physical Healthcare Team and Pharmacists. The main duties of the role will be to deliver high quality physical healthcare to patients with co-morbid mental disorders. This will include the assessment and management of patients under the supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist.
You will be able to develop and strengthen their experience whilst having the chance to develop clinical ideas and be part of improvement and innovation activities and research. This service is forward-thinking, open to new ideas and a holistic approach is taken to patient care and treatment.

As a qualified Physician Associate you will need to have a degree and have graduated from Physician Associated Training Programme (PG Dip or MSc, Department of Health Competence Curriculum Framework). You will hold a valid current certification by the UK Physician Associate National Examination and must be registered with the UK Managed Voluntary Register for Physician Associates.
