• Practice Detail: Ascension Medical Group is looking for a full-time, Cardiology Electrophysiologist for Ascension Medical Group Heart Rhythm Institute. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide cardiology electrophysiology services for patients at Ascension Heart Rhythm Institute in Roseville, Michigan and St. Clair Shores, Michigan. As a part of our team, you will work collaboratively alongside another experienced EP Cardiologist, an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, and a skilled support staff.

REQUIREMENTS

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

EDUCATION:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship program
• Completion of an accredited Cardiology Electrophysiology fellowship program
• BC in Cardiology and Cardiology Electrophysiology required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a dedication to clinical excellence
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties as required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inpatient rounding is at Ascension St. John Hospital, Ascension Macomb Oakland Hospital, Warren Campus and one other near-by hospital during the week of call.
• The APP rounds independently at Ascension St. John Hospital.
• Clinical procedures include devices and ablations (no structural procedures). Device implants include pacemakers and defibrillators. Procedures include right and left sided ablations.
