Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Wembley team at LifeCare is growing and as a result, we are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis.
This role is open to new graduates or experienced candidates.
You will be providing high-quality treatment to our patients to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation and evaluation in a multi-disciplinary setting. You will work across a variety of case presentations and clients in our private practice. We value holistic, patient centred care whilst supporting our practitioners with professional development opportunities and a very well-structured mentorship program.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE…
- Assessing and diagnosing a variety of different musculoskeletal and/or sporting injuries
- Drawing on your clinical Knowledge to create and implement appropriate treatment plans
- Providing the appropriate manual therapy, exercise prescription, education and other modalities as per the treatment plan
- Running group exercise classes
- Engaging with other Allied Health Professionals, GP’s, Surgeon’s, Sports Physician’s and other Health Care Professionals, as required, to help provide holistic care to patients
- Writing reports such as initial reports, progress and final reports or treatment management plans to update referrers
