Full Time Physiotherapy
Assistant
We are currently looking for a Full-Time
Physiotherapy Assistant. The successful
candidate will work in both an inpatient and
outpatient setting. Under the guidance of the
therapist, the Physiotherapy Assistant
interacts with patients/residents and other
health care workers to ensure that the needs
of the patient/resident are met in a caring and
professional manner. In addition, the
successful candidate will assist the
Physiotherapy staff with patient treatment
and department maintenance and will
perform clerical duties for the Rehabilitation
department.
The successful candidate will foster and
support a team environment to ensure the
attainment of our organization objectives
and will act as a role model for all staff and
promote the reputation of the facility in the
community.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the

following:

  • Diploma in a Physiotherapy Assistant/

Occupational Therapy Assistant

program.

  • Degree in Kinesiology from a recognized

educational institution considered an

asset.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication

and organizational skills with the ability
to work independently and as part of a

collaborative team.

  • A minimum of one-year of recent related

experience preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability

to communicate effectively with other

staff, patients and the public.

  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to provide regular attendance
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an

asset

Benefits:

  • $28.570 to $32.889 per hour

depending on experience
