JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This role requires a strong focus on quality control and the ability to handle materials efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred.
• Strong skills in materials handling and stock management.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment operation is beneficial.
• Experience operating a forklift is a plus, along with relevant certification if applicable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

DUTIES

• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
• Handle materials with care, ensuring they are stored and packed correctly.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and assist in inventory management.
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all items meet company standards before packing.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing documentation for outgoing shipments.
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the warehouse.

THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE OF 9AM - 1PM OR 11AM - 3PM [ 4HOURS DAILY]

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.77 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
