PREVIOUS FABRICATION AND ASSEMBLY SHOP EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED AN ASSET.

Responsibilities:

  • Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
  • Gather all pipe fittings required for the drawing package , document heat numbers, cutting pipe, prep fittings, prepping dlegs/trunnions.
  • Set up fittings and pipe to be tacked, tacking experience required.
  • Experience with Fabrication and Assembly.
  • Able to read and interpret Acorn & isometric drawings.
  • Hydrotesting experience required.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Certification required.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems 2020 Certification required.
