Job Description

Work Packages responsible for Piping material and Pipe Support material:

  • Review supplier documentation, perform quality review and track document progress
  • Support construction and commissioning, select pipe material and weight estimate
  • Create new pipe classes, maintain existing and select pipe material based on process requirements
  • Prepare technical specifications for Pipe Material, Pipe Supports and support for Piping Detail Engineering.
  • Prepare piping strength calculation and pipe support details and criteria.
  • Manage suppliers throughout the project, including reviewing all supplier documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Very good product and system knowledge, i.e. expertise in piping materials, codes and standards (ASME / EN), prefabrication, cleaning, erection, quality assurance (workshop and erection) including pressure test
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design of heavy industrial plants, power plants or Oil and Gas plant
  • Knowledge of 3D design tools and CAE tools (e.g. COMOS)
  • Fluency in English (German would be of advantage)
  • Good awareness and understanding of quality assurance
  • Good problem-solving, communication and coordination capabilities
