QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Control Engineering or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in simulation and design of hydraulic systems or electrical drive systems, preferably for wind turbine pitch systems
  • Have a solid understanding of mechatronic systems design and simulations
  • Customer-focused approach with a holistic understanding of the business value chain
  • Good experience with system engineering tools like DFMEA, HSE assessments, requirement specifications etc

Responsibilities:

  • Guide the design and development of electric drive systems for pitch systems in wind turbines based on requirements and technical specifications
  • Develop our internal design and simulation tools for the pitch system
  • Conduct dynamic analysis and simulation of the pitch system using MATLAB/Simulink or Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and service to ensure effective product development and launch
  • Develop our supplier basis to accommodate the technologies for tomorrow’s pitch system
  • Assist in developing detailed engineering designs, models, and drawings using CAD software, while providing technical support to service teams with troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Participate in prototype testing and analysis to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement
