Job Summary The PL/SQL will be responsible for coding and modifying websites and web applications, from layout to function and according to a client’s specifications.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PL/SQL Developer to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, remote, and is a contract position for 12 months with a possible extension.
Remote but must live an hour away to attend occasional meetings.

What You’ll Do
Participate in requirements analysis
Take direction from senior developers
Collaborate with internal teams to produce software
Write clean, scalable code
Perform unit test and prepare applications for deployment
Revise, update, refactor and debug code
Improve existing software
Create documentation as required
Provide production support
Provide third tier support to the help desk on assigned weekends and holidays if needed
Ability to work remotely and/or on-site
What You’ll Need
5 years or more of proven experience as a PL/SQL Application Developer using Toad, SQL
Ability to create views, packages, functions, and stored procedures
Ability to work with collections
Ability to work with async processes
Interpret execution plans and optimize queries and functions
Ability to create complex DML and debug
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Attention to detail is of the utmost importance
BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of development experience
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
