We are looking for an enthusiastic New Product Introduction to join our team specializing in Quality for our Plant VPI business unit in Huddersfield. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 7th July 2025, this placement is 100% site-based.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Working towards a degree in an appropriate Mechanical or Automotive Engineering discipline
  • Ambition, flexibility, creativity and a desire to learn and take on responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time managements skills
  • Previous experience within a Manufacturing or Quality environment would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Assisting with the coordination of turbo approval activities for new product introduction - Line Approval process and handling of product
  • Working both independently and within a team to support key tasks and projects
  • Using problem solving skills to improve processes and procedures
  • Representing and promoting Cummins Turbo Technologies to the customer, internally and externally
