Description:

EDUCATION:

Completion of the first year in a post-secondary college or university program in a relevant field.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 1-year recent experience in customer service, front desk support, or administrative support in a post-secondary academic environment.

SKILLS:

Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Effective organizational and time managements skills, including the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to exercise good judgment and take initiative.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and pay attention to detail.
Intermediate level of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsibilities:

The Placement Support Assistant provides program placement and administrative support for the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies under the direction of Manager, Employer Engagement.
