Description:
QUALIFICATIONS :
- BAC en gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, en gestion des opérations, en ingénierie industrielle ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Une certification APICS (CPIM, CSCP) est souhaitée mais non exigée.
- 3 ans d’expérience ou plus dans l’ordonnancement de la production, la planification ou la chaîne d’approvisionnement, de préférence dans les secteurs de la biotechnologie, de la pharmacie ou des dispositifs médicaux.
- Bonne connaissance des BPF dans l’environnement pharmaceutique et des réglementations en matière de santé et de sécurité.
- Expérience de travail avec des systèmes ERP/MRP (SAP, Oracle, etc.) et maîtrise avancée d’Excel.
- Une bonne connaissance des pratiques de l’industrie biotechnologique/pharmaceutique, y compris les BPF, la FDA et les réglementations ISO, est fortement souhaitée.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Certification in APICS (CPIM, CSCP) is preferred but not required
- 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or supply chain roles, preferably in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries
- Good knowledge of GMP in Pharma environment and of Health and Safety Regulations.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with biotech/pharmaceutical industry practices, including cGMP, FDA, and ISO regulations, is highly preferred
- Bilingual: French and English

Job Overview
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Production Planner will be responsible for overseeing production schedules, ensuring alignment between manufacturing, customer service, supply chain, maintenance, validation, technology transfer, R&D, customer service and Quality control in a fast-paced environment. The role will ensure that production schedules are met, while maintaining efficiency and resource optimization to meet the company’s business objectives. This position plays a critical role in coordinating materials, labor, and equipment availability, ensuring timely product delivery in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain production schedules: Create, maintain, and adjust the master production schedule
- Coordinate cross-departmental communication: Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, customer service, maintenance, validation, technology transfer, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure all departments are aligned with production priorities.
- Resource optimization: Ensure optimal utilization of production capacity, labor and materials, minimizing downtime, and addressing any scheduling conflicts.
- Monitor production progress: Track and report on production status and schedule adherence. Identify potential bottlenecks or risks to timely production and address them proactively.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts: Work closely with production supervisors/managers and supply chain to resolve conflicts related to production capacity, labor, and material availability.
- Lead planning meetings: Organize and lead regular planning and scheduling meetings to communicate priorities, updates, and changes to the schedule.
- Support continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the scheduling function, contributing to overall production efficiency and workflow optimization.
- Compliance with quality and regulatory standards: Ensure all scheduling activities adhere to the relevant quality and regulatory guidelines in the biotech industry (e.g., GMP, ISO standards).
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by management.
