Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
The Planner is responsible for supporting the growth of Aldo North America through sales planning and inventory management. This role will help manage the in-season and future planning of sales, markdown, and profit/contribution, with an additional focus on inventory management and assortment strategy, aligned with the financial target. Reports to the Planning Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate and analyze statistical data on area of responsibility
- Build and maintain seasonal merchandise budgets
- Build and maintain seasonal assortment plans
- Monitor the purchases against receipt plan
- Participate in the regional in-season management, and provide sales and markdowns forecasts and its impact on inventory levels
- Update weekly and monthly reports
- Manage and forecast the open-to-buy with interaction with the buying team
- Prepare ad-hoc reports to support strategic business decisions
