UGL Defence has recently commenced an Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels network. We are recruiting a Senior Project Engineer, to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
The Planner/Scheduler, reporting into the Projects Manager, will be based in our newly created Defence Hub in North Sydney, supporting projects across the country and overseas. You will be joining as UGL embarks on their first projects in the Defence Fuel Network, with a promising pipeline of future works.
- Manage and oversee all planning and scheduling project activities, including allocation of planned hours, tracking of trends and reporting
- Develop detailed milestone plans and schedules, daily productivity reports, and critical path analysis
- Identify opportunities for improvement to reduce cost, increase productivity and improve quality
- Maintain clear communication through planning and lifecycle of project with all key stakeholders including internal operations teams and external contractors

- Degree qualified or relevant trade qualification and experience
- Extensive experience in a similar role working in the Oil & Gas industry, or other relevant high risk, processing industries
- Proven experience working in a project environment, working on multiple projects at various stages and values
- Holds, or can obtain, appropriate security clearanc
