Job Description
There is now an opportunity to join our Assortment Planner team at our Kids customer group! As a Planner you’ll master the basics of analyzing and optimizing the assortment- and most importantly – maximizing growth. The H&M Kids Assortment is based in the Head Office in Stockholm, Sweden, where we design and develop our fashion collections. We work with all age groups from newborn up to the age 14+. We are a dynamic international workplace where fashion, high pace and costumer focus are a natural part of our day. Good communication skills, a flexible attitude and capability to adapt to changes are essential. We have a sustainable mindset and always seek new ways to improve our sustainable working methods to achieve our goals.
You as a Planner will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the assortment, demand planning and quantification to maximize growth and profitability. Based on the product team’s assortment strategy, drive the right income strategy as well as the right quantification on a regional & global level.
In this role you will work in close collaboration with the Product Manager, Business controller, your Product team as well as other functions within H&M to secure the best customer offer. You will constantly follow, react and identify new sales opportunities based on selling, customer insight and surrounding analysis, in cooperation with the Product team.

Responsibilities:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Optimize the product mix, planning and selling for every region to maximize meaningful growth and sustainable profitability
  • You work in tight collaboration with the Product Manager and the Business Controller to secure the best omni customer offer
  • Support in identifying opportunities for growth and act on them
  • In close collaboration with our production offices you as a Planner (together with a jr planner) have the responsibility of placing orders
  • Coach team members and collaborate in creating a successful planning strategy

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE WE SEE THAT YOU HAVE

  • A higher degree within Business administration, Economics, Buying or other relevant area
  • Experience within Planning, Merchandising or Buying function.
  • A strong salesmanship and see opportunities for growth and profitability
  • Strong analytical skills and ability turn the analysis to action
  • Informal leader, influences and coaches team members and leads by example
  • A passion for fashion and knowledge in what the customer will want and need at a specific time
  • Experience and knowledge in Excel
  • Great communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
