Description:

Overview
The Production Control Planner will coordinate all maintenance actions for the fleet of assignment. Will coordinate and establish priorities of work with AVUM/AVIM to include the following: quality control, the aviation repair shops, the armament section, technical supply, and Maintenance. The PC Planner will provide support to the AVUM mission and will act as an advisor and mentor in their capacity. Will be responsible for planning and controlling the maintenance at the AVUM/AVIM and oversee the daily activities of production. Will coordinate shop activities and advise key personnel in all maintenance efforts. The PC Planner will support all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance by the AVUM/AVIM. The PC Planner will manage maintenance and logistics planning and forecasting of the AVUM/AVIM aircraft so that the highest operational readiness rates are achieved.
Also WILL BE RESPONSIBILE FOR:
1. PPC is responsible for tracking maintenance and logistics statuses directly affecting assigned aircraft.
2. Assigns aircraft to the weekly flight schedule.
3. Will coordinate all daily and upcoming maintenance actions during the scheduled PC meeting.
4. Will maintain a monthly maintenance schedule and provide a copy to the PC Supervisor.
5. Will monitor the Operational Readiness Rate for the Fleet and provide daily and monthly reports.
6. Process, prioritize,and monitor work orders for assigned fleet.
7. Process controlled exchanges and ensure procedures are followed.
8. Manages the fleet’s phase maintenance flowchart
9. Reviews aircraft logbook, flight packs to ensure accuracy of the aircraft status and flight hours.
10. Develop maintenance plan to optimize flying hour program to support operational and training requirements.

Qualification

  • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance (A&P License )FAA A&P certificate or equivalent preferred.

  • Must have thorough knowledge on use of common tools, special tools, hardware, and equipment’s used in the aviation maintenance.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 Years Aviation Maintenance Experience

  • Minimum of 3YearsProduction Control Experience

  • Must have worked in; Unit AVUM/AVIM level at the Production Control/Quality Control Section or senior mechanic.
  • Experience in lieu, will be Civilian Aviation Maintenance experience with a minimum of yrs.
  • Has an understanding of the Logistics system and the direct relationship with aviation maintenance.
  • Full working knowledge of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) and reporting system.
  • An understanding of shops and component repair at level
