Description:
Are you a Planner looking to take the next step in your career with a dynamic and progressive engineering company?
We are seeking a Planner with programming experience in MS Project and P6 (Primavera) to join our Operational Division in Cork. The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Director and will become an integral part of the Project Delivery Team. This position will provide support in all areas of the business including the Commercial, Engineering and Operational functions. This position requires excellent organisational and communication skills.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS EXPERIENCE:
- Proven track record in project scheduling in engineering or construction.
- Strong IT skills.
- Proven experience in MS Project and P6 (Primavera) is essential.
- Previous experience in the Pharma/Life Sciences space.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good initiative and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Generate project schedule for projects at pre-tender stage.
- Support project team with schedule generation post award.
- Maintain ongoing schedule updates working closely with the Project Managers.
- Provide input to the weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Align project scheduling with project contract and milestones.
- Identify issues and risks at the earliest opportunity and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
- Critical path analysis and early Identification of project “roadblocks”
- Work closely with the leadership team on project and resource planning.
