OUR OPPORTUNITY

Work Location: Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 5/2 or 4/3 Residential OR 4/3 FIFO ex Perth
Fortescue is seeking an experienced Capital Project Planner/Scheduler to join a fast paced, dynamic work environment to support Hedland Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive & proven SAP knowledge (3 year minimum in a similar role)
  • Extensive & proven Microsoft Project and Excel experience
  • Ability to liaise with numerous stakeholders and SMEs
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to positively influence people to achieve their targets
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills & ability to interact at all levels

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the Structural Engineering Team to plan and schedule multi-year works
  • Plan and schedule major weekly works and handover work packs to the Shut Team
  • Cost controlling and assisting with budget building and future requirements
  • Liaise with multiple departments to ensure works are completed whilst minimising impacts on other activities
  • Plan and schedule multi discipline works - Boilermakers, Blast/Painters, Scaffolders, Electricians, Fitters
  • Undertake extensive scoping works with contractors and SMEs to ensure accurate planning
