DLR GfR mbH is a company providing reliable, safe and secure aerospace services. We operate and manage the constellation of Galileo satellites in the Galileo Control Center Oberpfaffenhofen on behalf of the European Commission.

YOUR QUALIFICATION:
- Solid technical background, preferably in IT, Telecommunications domain or alternatively equivalent relevant knowledge and proven technical experience in Space Operations
- Positive attitude towards cooperative team working and ability to interface with customers and stakeholders
- Ability to set priorities, as well as identify and resolve appearing conflicts
- Willingness to work in a multicultural, dynamic and challenging environment
- Comfortable with using Linux command line tools
- Comfortable with using VBA and Python
- An advanced level of English is mandatory
- Previous experience in a Space Operations environment would be an asset
- Methodical, disciplined, and comfortable in working strictly following procedures
- Able to work fully autonomously and under pressure in a Space Operations environment
- Able to work in a calm and correct manner under conditions of stress during potential contingencies
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Timeline, Team Plan and On-call Plan for routine Galileo Satellite Constellation Operations
- Maintenance of operational planning processes and procedures
- Maintenance of a planning input database
- Support to Ground Control Segment validation and testing activities
- Coordination of the inputs received from the different teams involved in Galileo Constellation Operations
- Contribution to the Planning Analyst training material update and improvement
- Supporting Constellation planning from the Galileo Control Center in Italy (up to 2-3 times per year) for planned or unplanned scenarios, as required
- Maintenance of team internally developed VBA and Python tool
