We are looking for a Planning and Operations Admin Apprentice to support the smooth running of operations in the Creative Learning and Engagement department. This apprenticeship includes a guaranteed job at the end of the programme, making it the perfect opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow.

As part of your apprenticeship, you will:

  • Gain hands-on experience in planning and scheduling the department’s work using RSC systems.
  • Support with planning seasonal schedules like Summer, Autumn/Winter, and Spring activities.
  • Learn to process important documents such as statements of work, framework agreements, purchase orders, expenses, and invoices.
  • Help manage the central department inbox and assist with email responses and enquiries.
  • Keep records accurate and up to date, ensuring everything is well-organised.

We can only consider candidates that meet the below eligibility criteria:

  • You must have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years.
  • Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme.
  • Not have a degree.
  • Not be registered to study on a UK government-funded course.
  • Hold a 4 grade or C grade in GCSE Maths and English or be willing to take a Functional Skills course during your Apprenticeship to achieve the qualifications.

You will:

  • Work towards a Cultural Learning and Participation Officer Level 3 qualification.
  • Have 20% of your working hours dedicated to training and learning.
  • Be supported by a mentor throughout your apprenticeship journey.
  • Gain a qualification and secure a guaranteed job at the end of the programme.

Responsibilities:

This is a full-time apprenticeship based in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The RSC supports hybrid and flexible working, and you will be required onsite for a minimum of 3 days per week.
The RSC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All employees of the Creative Learning and Engagement team are required to undergo enhanced checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). No offer of employment will be made until references have been checked.
