We are looking for an exceptional Planning & Projects Officer to take on our divisional committee secretary duties and team administration support for 9 months maternity cover. The role would be highly suitable for somebody with experience in the university who is looking to develop their skills in working with university governance, projects and general administration.
The post holder will be responsible for all of the administration and coordination of our divisional committees, as well as delivering diary management and admin support for the Planning & Projects team. The role will mainly focus on projects relating to Estates & Information Security, applicants do not need any project management experience to apply as the role will be delivering admin support and coordinating activities. This role will provide an excellent development opportunity for a proactive and organised individual with great interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be a member of the planning & projects team within the Social Sciences Divisional Office, reporting to the Senior Planning and Projects Manager, as well as supporting the wider Planning and Projects team, including the strategic Head of the team. You will be coordinating and disseminating senior committee papers for our Divisional Board and Planning and Resources Committee, as well as supporting with a variety of project administration and diary management duties.
