What are your responsibilities as Planning & Control Analyst?
As the Planning and Control Analyst you will work closely with the Strategic Business Control Manager, actively driving our financial processes to provide Senior Management with timely and high quality historical and forward looking information and recommendations.

Within this role you:

• Support the SBC Manager with the consolidated OpCo performance: BPR/Forecast preparation, drumbeat & insights/analysis with support from the wider Business Control team
• Prepare end-to-end internal managerial reports for the Management Team and wider organization: excel/PBI reports including scorecard, brand/channel/segment/profitability, etc. in partnership with HGSS & the other controllers
• Help improve & automate business control processes (e.g. RoFo, Annual Plan, etc.) together with the wider Finance community and D&T team
• Oversee CIL & Blink masterdata alignment to ensure solid reporting as per HEINEKEN standards (price segmentation, sources of growth, etc.)
• Support our recently acquired craft breweries (Texels, Oedipus) to ensure timely sharing of financials (actuals & forecasts)
• Support in embedding the Cost and Value drumbeat & responsible for maintaining SNOW and delivering ad hoc requests to the Region
• Support in monthly cash-flow forecasting as part of the RoFo submission

Your position is based in Leiden, with flexibility to work from home when needed.
Your working environment
As Planning and Control Analyst you will report to the Strategic Business Control Manager, in the Strategic Business Control (SBC) team. SBC is the eyes and ears of the organisation when it comes to investments, savings and analysing the possibilities to drive sustainable and profitable top-line growth. The team signals and optimises inefficient business processes and work in multidisciplinary projects.

To be successful we’re looking for someone who is an experienced, independent and challenging business partner. Also you need to communicate well at all levels in the organization, from operational to senior stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Bachelor’s degree at a minimum with 2+ years related work experience, ideally in in international FMCG or Big 4 Audit and consulting (master’s degree or a professional qualification (i.e., ACA or CFA) considered a plus
• Analytical skills with eye for detail as well as having a helicopter view
• Advanced knowledge of financial systems and applications (Excel/PowerBI/SAP)
• Knowledge on Reporting & Accounting (balance sheet/P&L understanding)
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• You work with the open attitude of continuous improvement for your role and the whole organisation
