Job Description

This position for Planning Engineer with min 5 years’ experience holding sufficient knowledge of 132/11kV Substation responsible for providing planning and scheduling support to Project Managers. The role shall be mainly focusing in providing detailed review, analysis and monitoring of the design, procurement and construction programs of the Contractor, Subcontractors.

  • Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using advanced planning software such as Primavera P6.
  • Baseline Schedule review and provide feedback to ensure comment compliance and secure client /authority approval.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and providing solutions to mitigate delay.
  • Track and update project milestones, key deliverables, and timelines, ensuring accountability across all team.
  • Providing progress reports, Project accruals, graphs and critical path analysis for the monthly and weekly progress reports to Client.
  • Review recovery program / micro schedule, coordinate with engineering discipline, procurement etc. and provide recommendations to limit impact on project timelines
  • Prepare progress reports, including critical path analysis, earned value analysis, and forecast updates.
  • Provide support for project change management process by evaluating the impact of proposed changes on the project schedule.
  • Maintaining records of monitoring of the programm to enable input and supportto the Project Manager to evaluate any related Contractor claims and variations as considered necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Primavera P6 with certification.
  • MS Project
  • Knowledge of SCL Delay protocol
  • Knowledge FIDIC Terms and Conditions
