GTC, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a Planning Engineer (Importing) who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

Reporting to the GIS Migration Team Leader or Design Manager the Planning Engineer (Importing) will initially be responsible for carrying out gas, electric, fibre and water network record migrations, working closely with the Design Team. They should also provide multi utility design and technical support to the business and its partners and assist in the maintenance of company records.

• Undertake MU demand calculations and assess networks with design parameters.
• Maintain and improve accuracy of data and our asset records.
• Issue data and reports in line with current business requirements.
• Manage own time to ensure work is completed within agreed SLAs.
