Responsibilities:

The Planning Forester will work with Forsite’s senior planners and analysts to deliver strategic, tactical and operational planning projects for our clients. You should have a demonstrated problem-solving ability, strong written and oral communications skills, and an ability to develop realistic plans within complex and challenging stewardship situations.
Depending on the experience of the successful candidate, the potential types of projects the role will be involved in may include forest operational planning, field operations, fibre analyses, forest health planning, wildfire risk management, community wildfire protection and fuel management planning and implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
