We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic planners, to join our Resource Consents Department, where the planning information advisor team provide high quality technical advice to customers regarding how they can achieve their goals within current regulatory parameters. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in solving the housing crisis in Tamaki Makaurau, and to provide advice on a variety of development projects including:
- comprehensive residential (including dwellings, terraced houses, and apartments).
- commercial, retail (including town and shopping centres) and industrial.
- urban expansion, regeneration, and heritage.
- sensitive rural and coastal areas.
- nationally and regionally significant infrastructure.
- large urban and rural subdivision.
- high profile events.
- Māori outcomes (including marae and papakāinga) and
- the protection of air, land, and water resources.

The planning information advisor role is the face of the resource consents department where your knowledge, expertise and communication skills will provide sound technical guidance to empower people to make the best choices for their future and the future of the Auckland Region.

SALARY RANGE $63,087 - $74,220 (DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE)
