We are looking for our new Planning Manager (h/f/d).
As a Planning Manager (h/f/d), you will join our Vernier Operations for Fragrance division and you will directly report to our Head of Operations.
You will lead the supply and production capacity planning for Vernier Operation, to secure that products are manufactured and supplied on time to customers. You will also communicate with local, regional and global stakeholders. You will manage two direct reports acting as Team Leads within the department composed of about twenty people.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Design and Execution:

As a member of the Vernier Operations leadership team, you will provide essential supply and production capacity inputs to the regional Operations plans and help design the local Operations and Supply Chain & Planning strategies. You will also be responsible of the definition of related goals based on input provided by other functions, e.g. Commercial or Business Development. With your expertise you will oversee the design and execution of tactical and operational plans at site level to meet Vernier Operations goals.

  • Function Management:

You will work under best practices related to safety and industrial hygiene, quality and standard good practices. You will maintain an appropriate level of inventory following corporate standards and balance raw material availability. In the meantime, you will control that our customer’s response is made on time and you will develop realistic daily plans considering capacity and raw material availability. You will be the main contact regarding escalation point for resolution of problems, complaints and prioritization issues. You will analyse and communicate planning performance and continuously improve the KPI’s. Moreover, you will build improvement opportunities and deploy global projects. You will also control and report achievement of service level targets to partners. You will develop annual budget and expense control, and perform the annual operating plan. On top of that, you will monitor workload and calendars to maintain the balance in the department.

  • People Management:

You will oversee the annual human resources processes within the Site Planning team and validate related results. It includes that you will work with the local and regional Supply Chain & Planning, Operations management and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local talent pipeline. You will also guide the development and the promotion of Planning talents within and outside Supply Chain & Planning and Operations at local level.
