Job Description
As an Operations at Jacobs Douwe Egberts, you will be integrated in the Belux Operations team and become part of the team responsible for the planning and execution of technical service on our coffee machines (B2B). This will give you the insights on how we deliver key service to our customers! We create remarkable customer experiences through our services!

Qualifications

  • You are an enthusiastic student with a matching educational business background, and preferably a supply chain or operations passionate.
  • Your internship is a mandatory aspect of your studies.
  • You are a team player with strong communication & analytical skills
  • You work pro-actively, take ownership of your own projects and deadlines, and are result driven
  • You can have basic understanding/ability to speak in either Dutch or French and be fluent in English
  • You’re available for at least 5 to 6 months starting from January/February 2025
  • Your internship is a mandatory part of your studie

Responsibilities:

  • You will actively be integrated in the Planning (Dispatching) & installation team where you are asked to be a supportive member and take a responsibility on some tasks.
  • This internship is mainly a working internship to gain work experiences and not a research internship.
  • Create calls in the system based on input from customers.
  • Part of the tasks will be operationally (60%), supporting the team in the day-to-day operations, for example:
  • Contacting field technicians on their planning
  • Support the logistics team in the daily monitoring and follow up of the day-to-day operational routines
  • Support the team in cross-functional initiatives to tackle issues
  • Support on planning of installations and the out-roll of projects
  • Submit orders from draft to pending
  • Second part of the tasks (40%) consist of using the experience from the operational activities to support & initiate improvement proposals, within the function as well as cross-functional within operations.
  • You will be asked to join the field team several days in the field with customer trips to better understand the business and needs from the field.
