Job Purpose
Coordinates the flow of materials, parts and assemblies according to the Production schedule. Works with Managers to ensure proper resources are in place to support WIP or work to be released.

Job Description

  • Releases orders into production per Production Schedule or as requested.
  • Prepares drawings, Routing and other related materials to create production order packet for the floor or

shipping packet for outside service operations.

  • Monitors WIP in the area of responsibility to ensure adherence to the schedule and transaction accuracy.

Provides status reports of WIP to appropriate parties to support progress updates.

  • Coordinates purchase orders for spare parts and outside service operations and ensure the execution based on

the availability of the resources.

  • Reviews production needs of Assembly or Manufacturing and determines priorities of action needed for

unscheduled work.

  • Assists with expediting the material movement of critical path materials and updates progress of WIP Production

Orders.

  • Works with different departments to ensure that routings are appropriate for work to be done.
  • Assists in preparing Capacity Load files for the area, as well as to ensure proper resources (manpower and

machine tools) are available to support WIP, specially for emergency or unplanned releases.

You are meant for this job if:

  • 4 to 6 years experience in areas of project management, project planning & execution and exposer to

manufacturing and servicing of Wellhead & Chrismas Tee equipment.

  • Well verse on SAP systems.
